SMAHU Update August 2020

SMAHU kicked off the 2020-2021 year with a Strategic Planning meeting on August 4th. We welcomed two new board members this year, Brad Whittle from BCBSM and Chris Werme from Rose Street Advisors. Our planning focused on how we adjust to bring value to our membership in a virtual manner. Discussion spanned from how virtual meetings impact our 2020-2021 budget, sponsorship opportunities, utilizing platforms like Facebook Live, Virtual Network Rooms, to the increased flexibility of pulling in a speaker from anywhere in the world. We will continue to host meetings the 2nd Tuesday of the month with our first Virtual meeting being on September 8th. We have a lot to learn about technology but looking forward to a great 2020-2021 year of SMAHU!
